I feel so much better about the grandkids playing on the floor. We bought a house that had not been cared for. The carpets were good quality but were filthy and badly stained. There were black stains, brown stains, greasy stains, red stains, gum and offensive odors, including dog urine. We had another company who was certified and had a truck-mounted system come clean the carpets. However, the cleaner spent less than an hour on a two-story house. He quickly sprayed all the carpets with a pre-treatment solution and then quickly went over all the carpets ONCE and was done. He removed a lot of dirt but the stains and some of the smell remained even though he said he used a pet treatment. We then called Royalty Steamers because their ad said “Satisfaction Guaranteed”. Royalty Steamers individually treated each stain and spent 4 hours cleaning. Then he rinsed the carpet and extracted most of the moisture. The entire carpet looks clean, feels soft and the stains are gone. He took the time to clip out some surface fibers where nail polish had been spilled and a spot where the carpet fibers were burned black. He then treated the carpet with a protectant, an option not even offered by the first cleaner. I was amazed at the difference between the two cleaners and how good the carpet now looks.
